Quick Messaging Overview

The following pages will describe how to set up Quick Messaging for your users. As a prerequisite to enabling the Quick Message functionality, you **must ensure** that your XDOC Implementation has the ability to send emails via your company's email server. Please contact Customer Support if you need any assistance. To set up Quick Messaging functionality you must set up the following four areas:

1. Message Control - Global configuration settings for quick messages

2. Message Templates - Setting the Subject and Body of the email

3. Address Groups - Setting the persons to deliver to for the message

4. Quick Messages - Combining the Email Template with the Address Group to define the message

5. Message Token Help - A guide to include tokenated data in quick messages

NOTE: All Quick Messaging Admin items can be found in the XDOC Admin in Projects Tab>Project Messaging>Quick Messaging
