Overview
This release delivers improvements across AIVA automation, document viewing, bundling workflows, administrative controls, and reporting. Key highlights include new AIVA transaction, classification, and extraction tools; enhanced options for bundling documents by date and category; improved annotation controls; and new and updated APIs for programmatically updating and retrieving document data.
Note: Availability of certain features described in these release notes may vary based on your system permissions.
AIVA & Automation Enhancements
Smarter AIVA Automation & Visibility
- New AIVA Transactions management screen
Admins can now view, search, purge, and download AIVA transactions directly from a new AIVA Transactions screen in Admin → System → AIVA Info. This makes it easier to manage stuck or long-running transactions and keep the list clean. - New AIVA Classifications dashboard
A new AIVA Classifications UI shows classification and extraction results by loan, including document types, confidence levels, thresholds, user-confirmed classifications, and the number of extraction data documents with powerful filtering and search options. - Extraction data now stored and viewable in XDOC
When AIVA data extraction completes, the extracted XML is now persisted in XDOC and tied to the correct loan and document. Users can view extraction results in an “Extraction Data” panel in the Viewer – no need to re-run extraction. Tghe extracted data can be downloaded directly from the Document Viewer, if needed. - Updated LOS event with extracted data
The extracted document data will be included in the event XML payload sent to the LOS. - Email notifications for completed AIVA docs
A new Notifications configuration lets you enable AIVA email alerts and specify up to 5 recipient email addresses, so the right people are notified when AIVA documents are received back.
Note: Use of AIVA Document Classification and Data Extraction features requires a separate contract and license with the AIVA team. Please contact your Account Representative for more information on enabling this functionality.
Document Viewer & Annotation Improvements
Better Viewing, Annotations, and Upload Experience
- New indicator for changes on a loan
While viewing a loan, users now see a visual indicator near the refresh button during their session when new documents are added, deleted or updated; document's document type change; document's bucket change; Field value change; Annotations count increased/decreased; Document Notes count increased/decreased; Page Notes count increased/decreased; Page Count increased/decreased. This helps teams notice new content without constantly refreshing. A new Polling Interval setting lets admins control how often the Viewer checks for updates (Off, 3, 5, 10, 20, or 60 minutes). - Consistent annotation text size across browsers
Annotation text size has been aligned so the Size/Resize controls accurately reflect actual font size in all supported browsers (Edge, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Opera). - Configurable default text size for annotations
Admins can now set a default text size for annotations (6–72 pt) in Project Settings. When overridden, this value becomes the default font size for annotation text and resize options. - Cleaner login screen
The “Logon Using” label and dropdown have been removed from the login page to reduce confusion, and remaining elements have been adjusted to keep the layout clean. - Simplified security configuration UI
The Azure AD B2C configuration frame has been removed from the System Security → User Authentication screen to focus on the authentication options in use. - Smarter upload defaults
A new File Upload section in Project Settings lets admins define default Color Handler (Black & White, Smart Color Detection, Full Color) and Render Quality (Normal, High). These defaults are automatically applied in the “Files to Upload” UI to speed up uploads and standardize quality.
Bundling & Stacking Enhancements
Smarter Bundling for Trailing & Organized Packages
- Bundle by “Documents After Date”
When sending bundles, users can now specify a “Documents After Date” using a calendar picker. The bundle automatically filters to include only documents with a document date after the selected date—ideal for trailing docs after an initial delivery. - Template & profile-level control for date filtering
Bundle templates and profiles now include a “Documents After Date” permission. When enabled, users sending bundles can choose a date and have the bundle automatically filtered by document date. - Category visibility in stacking templates
Stacking/bundling template editors now show a Category column, automatically populated from Document Definitions. This helps admins organize and manage document stacks by logical categories (e.g., Income, Assets) more easily. - Category filtering in bundle profile editor
The Bundle Profile Editor now includes a Category dropdown so users can filter document definitions by category (e.g., all Income docs, all Asset docs) when building bundle profiles, reducing hunt-and-peck searching.
Admin, Security & User Management
Stronger Security & Easier User Administration
- Bucket-level access control by security profile
Security Profiles now include a Bucket Access tab, allowing admins to deny access to specific document buckets per project. This ensures users only see documents they’re allowed to access, even within the same loan. - Create new users by copying existing setups
Admins can now copy an existing user in the System Users screen. The system creates a new user with the same privileges and a username that includes the date/time. Admins simply adjust the username to the final value, dramatically speeding up user setup. - New XDOCTRACE
A new Document Trace permission has been added to the Audit Log Permissions. - New XCONTAINERTRACE
A new Loan Trace permission has been added to the Audit Log Permissions.
APIs & Integrations
More Powerful APIs & Integration Options
- New Document Update Web Service (GET)
A new Document.DocumentUpdate GET API lets integrators update a document’s type, bucket, fields, external reference, and more by passing in the ProjectId and DocumentId. The response includes rich metadata and clear result codes (Success, 403, 404, 1203) for consistent error handling. - New Document Update method in XDOC API (POST)
A complementary POST.DocumentUpdate method allows partners to update document properties (Document Type, bucket, and related metadata) using ContainerKey/ContainerRef and DocumentID. Responses include standard result codes (Success, 403, 404, 1203) for consistent error handling. - Update to Container.DocumentInfo API (GET)
DataIncludeFlags (int) - Allows specification on whether to include the Document List, Fields, Versions, Conditions and Extractions; 1 = Document Listing, 3 = Document Fields, 4 = Document Versions, 8 = Document Conditions, 16 = Document Extractions (Data). - Support for multiple OCR service instances
Customers can now run multiple OCR Service instances to support multiple clients and improve scalability.
Quality & Bug Fixes
Stability, Performance & UX Fixes
- Fixed an issue where newest documents weren’t sorting correctly in the Viewer when using different sort options.
- Fixed a barcode reader results scrolling issue, ensuring results lists are fully viewable.
- Updated logic so the Verify button is only shown when enabled by configuration, keeping the Viewer UI consistent with admin settings.
-
Improved new-user creation validation by checking the requested XDOC username against existing usernames. If the username is already in use, the system now displays a clear, user-friendly message instead of an unexpected error with no description.
-
Fixed an issue where Servicing Document categories and category IDs in the XDOC base build overlapped with customer's existing Loan Document categories and category IDs.
