What Are Tokens?

Tokens are specially formatted text strings used as placeholders within any property or setting of a Bundle Profile or Template Definition in XDOC.

They function similarly to:

• Mail Merge fields in Microsoft Word
• Cover page variables in fax servers

How Tokens Work

When a bundle is executed, XDOC scans for tokens and replaces them dynamically with the corresponding application data they represent.

This allows you to create flexible, data-driven bundle definitions that adapt to each loan or document context.

Token Data Sources

Tokens can pull data from two primary sources:

• LOS Data – Information coming from your Loan Origination System
• XDOC Data – Internal data stored or generated within XDOC
