User Interface UI – Section Overview
This section focuses on the general User Interface default values for the XDOC Viewer. These values define how the Viewer behaves system‑wide unless overridden at the project level.
The default values displayed on this screen originate from the same configuration page located in the System Tab. However, each default can be modified for the current project by:
- Checking the Override checkbox
- Entering a new value in the Value field
- Clicking SAVE
This allows individual projects to customize their XDOC Viewer UI behavior without altering global system defaults.
Container Defaults
Container Defaults determine which loan number (“container”) is used as the default for various XDOC functions.
Key Notes
- In XDOC terminology, “container” = "loan number".
- These defaults influence which loan number appears automatically when accessing different XDOC features.
- The “Use Last Container” setting selects the most recent loan number the user worked with in XDOC.
- This setting is only applied if the corresponding feature is enabled in the integration configuration.

| Document Viewer | Setting to determing whether to log history for the Document Viewer. We recommend you always log this history |
| Document Compare | Setting to determing whether to log history for the Document Compare feature |
Document Type List - These settings allow Admins to sort the Document Type drop down lists by category and then sort the document types in those categories
Document Copy and Page Copy Defaults - These settings control the Document Copy/Move and Page Copy/Move and defaults. It is recommended that you set the Doc Copy Action to "copy" and the Page Copy action to "move"
Download and Export Options - These are the default options for downloading and emailing documents in the Viewer, as well as downloading from the File Room and File Viewer

Image and Annotation Defaults - These default options determine the imaging and annotation options for the viewer. These are global options and will affect all users
