Overview
Release 6161.1 introduces enhanced control over AIVA document processing through loan channel configuration, API enhancements to support loan channel identification, usability improvements within the XDOC UI, client‑specific automation enhancements, and multiple stability and defect fixes.
New Features & Enhancements
AIVA Loan Channel Configuration
XDOC now allows administrators to control AIVA document classification and data extraction eligibility based on loan channel.
Note: Use of the AIVA Document Classification and Data Extraction functionality requires an active AIVA Doc Services license. Please contact your Dark Matter Account Representative for further information.
Details
- New Loan Channel settings are available under:
Admin → System → AIVA Info → Settings - Each loan channel can be configured independently:
- Retail
- Correspondent
- Home Equity
- Wholesale
- Each channel supports Yes / No configuration (default = Yes).
- Settings persist after save, refresh, logout, and restart.
- Loan Channel Default - controls the default value for the Upload → Files → Upload → Loan Channel (dropdown).
Behavior
- Documents are submitted to AIVA only when:
- AIVA is enabled and
- The document’s loan channel is configured as Yes
- Documents with missing or unknown loan channel values are skipped without error.
- API ChannelFlag setting overrides the Loan Channel Default value setting.
Benefit Provides precise cost, volume, and operational control over AIVA processing.
API Enhancements: Loan Channel Identification
The following APIs now support identifying the loan origination channel when documents are added:
- POST Document.DocumentAdd
- POST Document.DocumentAddXml
Enhancement
- Added optional request parameter: ChannelFlag
- Supports the following loan channels:
- Retail
- Correspondent
- Home Equity
- Wholesale
- When omitted or null, existing behavior is preserved.
Benefit Enables accurate downstream automation and routing decisions, including AIVA eligibility.
OCR Service Enhancements for Channel‑Based Routing
The XDOC OCR Service has been updated to properly interpret loan channel information and enforce AIVA routing rules.
Details
- OCR routing decisions now align with:
- Loan channel metadata
- Admin‑configured AIVA channel settings
- Ensures documents are only submitted to AIVA when channel eligibility criteria are met.
- Missing or null channel values skip AIVA submission without error.
Benefit Prevents unintended AIVA submissions and improves automation reliability.
UI Enhancement: Stacking Order Column
The Stacking Order column now displays full document descriptions.
What’s Improved
- Document descriptions are no longer truncated.
- Full document names are visible via column expansion or hover tooltip.
- Displayed descriptions match the configured document type exactly.
Benefit Improves document clarity and usability during review and stacking operations.
Defect Fixes & Maintenance
Split & Merge Workflow Refresh
- Resolved an issue where the Unfiled Page View did not automatically refresh after adding pages to an existing document.
- Split & Merge workflows now update correctly without manual page refresh.
Manual Bundle Processing
- Fixed an issue where errors were incorrectly reported during manual bundle creation despite successful completion.
Component Library Update
- Updated third‑party file transfer libraries (ComponentPro to Rebex) to improve security, compliance, and long‑term support.
