System Tab Overview

This tab is primarily used to set up for system level default settings for all projects, as well as File Upload Gateways and User Security. The System Tab contains settings divided into seven main groupings:

• Version Information - Use this section to access version information, as well as the .pdf file for yoru license and release notes
  
  
• Help and Support - Access various help items various XDOC documentation
  
  
• Application Identity - Configures server information, as well as logon page settings and customized branding for your XDOC website
  
  
• System Security - Configure user security, as well as high level global security
  
  
• System Resources - Used for storage and file upload gateway defaults
  
  
• System Objects - Used to define projects, email templates and user signatures
  
  
• System Settings - Used for various processing items (workflow and gateway), API defaults, and user interface defaults 

 

All of the system level default settings in this tab can be overridden in the Project Tab settings
